Marrakech-based dancer and choreographer Bouchra Ouizguen has been committed to developing the local dance scene since 1998. Her preoccupations with society, the visual arts and the popular arts in her country inform her work with sound, performance and video. In her liberating show Madame Plaza, she shared the stage with three artists from the Aïta tradition of song and dance, who will be joined by others in Ha! Corbeaux, Ottof and Elephant. Her multidisciplinary work is presented internationally in theaters and museums.
