Fræme

"Mission Musée": an online game to discover contemporary art, but also the jobs and workings of a museum.

The project

The Mission Musée project is designed for children aged 9 to 12, and to support teachers in the school setting. It is designed to fit in with school curricula. Pupils are tasked with taking charge of a corpus of works rescued from the waters and finding them a new home in a series of game stages: unlocking the museum database, putting the inventory of works in order, drawing up technical sheets for hanging them, creating thematic corpuses of works, organizing their transport, and much more...! Through some twenty mini-games and workshops, students discover the variety and richness of contemporary works of art, the professions of the art world, and the sensitive and scientific vocabulary used to understand them.

Fræme

Based at Marseille's Friche la Belle de Mai, the Fræme association presents exhibitions and develops projects and tools for the mediation of contemporary art.

Fondazione Burri

"M-CASE": a sensory experience to discover contemporary artworks in a totally dark space.

The project

The M-CASE (Museum Contemporary Art Sensorial Experience) project grew out of the successful VIBE (Voyage Inside a Blind Experience), a sensorial corridor plunged into total darkness in which sighted visitors could experience the works of Josef and Anni Albers through senses other than sight. M-CASE is an itinerant modular space that can be placed both inside and outside the museum. Completely dark, it uses tactile elements, 3D reproductions and a sound system to offer a sensory experience of contemporary art. Accompanied during their visit by visually impaired or blind mediators, visitors will experience the museum as a genuine place of encounter and integration.

Fondazione Burri

The Fondazione Burri was founded in 1978 by the artist Alberto Burri. It is divided into two monographic museums: the Palazzo Albizzini and the Ex Seccatoi del Tabacco, both in Città di Castello. It boasts the most comprehensive collection on the artist.

Lambert Collection

"Inspire": Welcoming CM1 - CM2 children who have dropped out of school to a micro-school set up in the heart of the museum.

The project

The micro-school project has been tested since January 2020. It was born of a meeting between the Collection Lambert and the French Ministry of Education, in the heart of an area with a poverty rate of 31%. For the time being, it welcomes 6 children, and involves a large number of pupils in conventional schooling. Fundamental learning is concentrated in the mornings, and is based in part on works of art in the museum. Afternoons are devoted to workshops led by artists and scientists alike. In 2020/2021, for example, a project will be carried out to create and develop a 500 m2 garden, and some 216 hours of workshops are planned. The Inspire micro-school is: a pilot educational project combining the arts and sciences, a partnership with 3 elementary school and 2 secondary schools, over 160 pupils aged 8 to 15 involved from the 1st year, 4 partner cultural institutions, 9 artists in residence over 10 months, 4 artistic disciplines covered.

Lambert Collection

The Collection Lambert in Avignon is a museum of contemporary art created in 2000 on the initiative of gallery owner Yvon Lambert, who donated to the French state a collection of major works from the 2nd half of the 20th century and the early 21st century.

Centro Botín

"SaludArte": teaching nursing staff to develop their perception and creativity through the arts.

The project

SaludArte is the result of a collaboration between Centro Botìn and the Marqué de Valdecilla hospital. Through various artistic activities and an 8-session training course created in partnership with Yale University's Center for Emotional Intelligence, the hospital's nursing staff learn through the arts to develop their perception and understanding, and to better manage their emotions or potential conflicts. The aim is, through creativity, to give them the means to understand the challenges they face in their working environment and find innovative solutions to deal with them. In 2019, training helped alleviate some burnout through the organization of concerts or a photo competition, carried out by the caregivers themselves and supported by Centro Botìn. An improvement in well-being at work has been noted, with a positive impact on patients and their families. Centro Botìn intends to continue these training courses and artistic activities for hospital staff, and to offer patients access to art via an in-house television channel and social networks.

Centro Botín

Centro Botin (2017) is the flagship project of the Botìn Foundation, founded in 1964. An internationally renowned art center designed by Renzo Piano, it pursues a social mission: to awaken the public's creativity.
