Our imaginative, contemporary approach encourages new forms of access, participation and engagement with arts and culture, pushing boundaries with digital technology and mobile programmes.

We work in partnership with artists, cultural organisations and communities, exploring all art forms, and creating unforgettable cultural experiences for everyone.

Founded by entrepreneur Frédéric Jousset in 2019, Art Explora is a collective journey bringing together many partners and more than 1600 volunteers.

Frédéric Jousset

Founder and chairman

Frédéric Jousset graduated from HEC in 1992, where he chaired the alumni association. In 2000, he co-founded the Webhelp group, which has become a world leader in customer relationship management. A former board member of the Musée du Louvre and the Beaux-Arts de Paris, and a board member of the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, he is passionate about art and deeply involved in the world of culture and heritage. As Chairman of Beaux Arts & Cie (Beaux Arts Magazine) and since the creation of the Art Explora Foundation, as well as the ArtNova investment fund dedicated to the creative and cultural industries, Frédéric Jousset is now devoted to culture. Strictly independent, these two entities share the same objective: to democratise access to culture and promote know-how and creative talent.

Frédéric Jousset

Bruno Julliard

Executive Director

As a law student, Bruno was elected as Chairman of the leading student union, UNEF, in 2005. In 2008, he became deputy-mayor in charge of youth for the City of Paris. As First Deputy to the Mayor of Paris, he was in charge of culture, artistic professions and heritage in 2014. He sits on a the boards of a number of Paris’ cultural institutions and, between 2014 and 2018, was Chairman of Paris Musées, a public body representing the 14 museums of the City of Paris. As special advisor to the Ministry of National Education, he helped to draw up education policy guidelines in 2012. He left the City of Paris Council in 2018 to join Frédéric Jousset who was prefiguring Art Explora, and became the director of the foundation on its creation in 2019.

Agnès de T'Serclaes

Deputy Director

After a graduation from ESSEC Business School, Agnès started her career at Procter&Gamble following first experiences at the Petit Palais Museum and McKinsey. During 12 years at P&G, she worked on marketing positions travelling between France and Spain and was appointed Category Director in charge of marketing and sales for a brand portfolio. In 2013 she moved in Colombia and launched Kidizz Latam, the latin american subsidiary of the French Startup Kidizz. She successfully developped the company in 5 countries before flying back to France in 2019. Convinced by the Foundation’s project, Agnès joins Art Explora as Deputy Director..

Laurence Dehaye

Executive Assistant

Laurence started her career as medical secretary in public health institutions. In 1988 after having passed the Paris City Hall Exam, she worked at Paris Council as elected representative assistant for over than 30 years. In 2019, Laurence chose a new professional path joining the communication service of the real estate developper OGIC and finally joined Art Explora in March 2022 to work as executive assistant for the fondation.

She has also directed performance, dance, artists’ films and conference programs in collaboration with major cultural institutions such as the Louvre, the Palais de la découverte and the Centre Pompidou, and was co-curator for performance programs at the Silencio in Paris and the Printemps de Septembre contemporary art festival. In 2017, she co-founded the association Thanks for Nothing, which creates links between the art world and charity organizations. At Art Explora, she will develop artist residencies at the Cité internationale des arts in Montmartre and build synergies with the foundation’s cultural partners.

Capucine Borde

Head of Production

Graduated with a Master's in Public Law and a specialized Master's in Cultural Management from ESCP, Capucine is an expert in managing and producing complex cultural projects. After five years at the Centre Pompidou and the Palais de Tokyo, where she led monographic, collective, and multidisciplinary exhibitions, she joined the agency Auditoire to design exceptional events for luxury brands. Anna Bouloux

Artistic Programming Manager

With a Master 1 in Law and a Master 2 in International Art Market, Anna began her career in an art gallery. She became artistic director of the Art Explora Foundation in 2023. Passionate about contemporary art, both established and emerging, she began by working on the artist residency programme . Now in charge of programming, Anna follows the Foundation's artistic projects, devoting her time to the various exhibitions presented at Hangar Y and as part of the Art Explora Festival.

Philippe Rivière

Following his Ecole du Louvre undergraduate degree, Philippe obtained a DEA (M.Phil) in the history of art at Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne, and a DESS (postgraduate diploma) in document engineering at ENSSIB. Since then he has held some key roles in the digital world of some of Paris’ cultural institutions. More recently, he was deputy development manager and head of digital services and communication at Paris Musées. Philippe now manages the foundation’s digital strategy. Beyond elaborating strategy, he also leads the design and implementation of various digital resources and contributes to the setting up of national and international partnerships.

In 2008, she joined Europa Cinemas network as Young Audiences Coordinator. She was appointed Audiovisual Attaché in 2013 and joined the Embassy of France in Germany. She joined the French Cultural Institute in Paris in 2018 as Cinema Director: she developed the European Film Factory cinema education program and contributed to the emergence of young talents internationally. She became there Director of Creation and Cultural Industries in 2021. She joined the Foundation in 2023 to become Audiences Director, in charge of audience engagement, European development and the Pleyel en mouvement project.

Léane Inès

Head of Public Programmes & Mediation - Art Explora Festival and European Award

Léane holds a Master's degree in Art Market from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and followed a double university degree in law and art history. During her Master's year, she was Vice-President of AMMA, an association organising the Paris 1 Art Contemporary Award with the objective to support young contemporary art. She joined the Art Explora foundation in 2021 and participated in the development of the Art Explora Academy online platform before joining the Public Team as Project Manager of Public and Community Engagement. In particular, she organises the Art Explora – Académie des beaux-arts European Award and coordinates the foundation's projects with the local associative network linked to the different programmes.

Léane Inès

Louise Burdet

Project Manager of the European Award

Graduated with a Master’s degree in International Law (Master 1) from Stockholm University, followed by a Master’s degree in International Relations – specializing in Culture, and a Master’s degree in Law, Economics and Audiovisual Management from the Sorbonne, Louise Burdet worked for six years at Mediawan, a major European audiovisual production and distribution group. There, she contributed to the development, production, and distribution of international audiovisual projects. She also expanded her project-management experience within major film festivals such as the Annecy International Animation Film Festival and the San Sebastián International Film Festival. Passionate about access to culture and European dynamics, she is now involved in developing the Art Explora European Prize and contributes to the creation of initiatives dedicated to audience engagement.

Following his involvement in youth movements and graduating from social studies, Sébastien developed educational projects and continued his studies at Sciences Po in 2009, specializing in the charity sector. He worked with non-profit organizations such as Aides, Solidarité Enfants Sida and the French Red Cross to support and accompany the work of volunteers. He joined Sciences Po in 2016 and subsequently became Director of Student Life, supporting the development of community life and encouraging youth involvement. At the same time, he was involved voluntary in Think Tanks such as La Fonda. He joined Art Explora in 2023 to develop the local volunteer network and encourage new forms of commitment to the Foundation's missions.

Victoria Moati

Head of Volunteers Community Development

With a Master's degree in Art History and management of cultural projects in the public space, Victoria has worked for nearly 4 years in the development of associative projects with social and environmental impacts. After getting involved in cultural third places such as Ground Control and Les Grands Voisins, Victoria was passionate about citizen mobilization and its various forms of engagement by embarking on the animation of volunteer community. She joined the Art Explora team to contribute to the territorial development of the volunteer community and its structure.

Yann Le Touher

Director of external relations

A graduate of ESSEC and the Ecole du Louvre, Yann is a specialist in the world of museums and patronage. His career has taken him to work for some of Paris's leading museums, including the Musée d'Orsay, the Centre Pompidou and the Réunion des Musées Nationaux - Grand Palais, before he joined the Louvre as Deputy Director of Development. Over a period of 7 years, he radically renewed the Louvre's economic development strategy, significantly increasing sponsorship income via crowdfunding and international donors, and initiating innovative partnerships with brands such as AirBnB, Uniqlo, Vacheron Constantin and Lancôme. In 2023, attracted by its innovative and dynamic model, he joined the Art Explora Foundation as to head up the External Relations Department in charge of communication and development.

She trained in the administration of cultural institutions at Sciences Po Paris and in management in the fields of creation, culture and the entertainment industries at HEC. Previously in charge of patronage at the Louvre Museum, she had the opportunity to work on multidisciplinary projects with international partners. Convinced of the need to align her professional life with her personal values, Mélanie joined the Art Explora Foundation to put her skills at the service of the general interest and make culture accessible to as many people as possible.

Pauline Ferron

Communication and digital marketing manager

Pauline has always been passionate about art and culture. For the past 7 years, she has been advising various cultural institutions (mk2, RMN Grand Palais, Musée du Quai Branly...) and private companies in communication and digital marketing. Driven by the conviction that art should be accessible from an early age, in 2010 she created MuMo, a travelling museum designed to reach out to children, particularly those who are furthest away from access to culture. Whilst studying they volunteered on projects with school children and care home residents through intergenerational arts charity Magic Me, and have since considered widening access to art and making an integral part of their role as an artist. They have worked with a broad range of people in community, educational and gallery settings, and have extensive experience with SEN/D children and older adults. Poppy is especially interested in intergenerational practice, co-creation, inclusive practice and applying the principles of play work to arts education and participation. In their free time they make sculptures, volunteer at a community garden and help to organise neuro-inclusive parties. Poppy joined Art Explora as Community Programme Coordinator in April 2024 and also works as a freelance Arts Educator in schools and galleries.

Whilst studying History of Art, she set up a sustainably focused art and culture magazine, from which she gained experience in publishing, website development, community events, and digital marketing. She has since taken on several freelance projects, managing social media for various queer-led independent arts organisations. Working with BRICKS Media, she gained further experience in PR and social media management, developing a special interest in spotlighting community-focused artists and initiatives. In her free time, Evie enjoys creating collages, kickboxing, and volunteering weekly at a community garden. After initially joining Art Explora as an Arts at Home volunteer in early 2025, Evie is currently utilising her experience to manage Art Explora UK’s digital marketing.

Evie Baldwin graduated from the University of Bristol in 2024. Frédéric Jousset graduated from HEC in 1992, where he chaired the alumni association. In 2000, he co-founded the Webhelp group, which has become a world leader in customer relationship management. A former board member of the Musée du Louvre and the Beaux-Arts de Paris, and a board member of the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, he is passionate about art and deeply involved in the world of culture and heritage. As Chairman of Beaux Arts & Cie (Beaux Arts Magazine) and since the creation of the Art Explora Foundation, as well as the ArtNova investment fund dedicated to the creative and cultural industries, Frédéric Jousset is now devoted to culture. Strictly independent, these two entities share the same objective: to democratise access to culture and promote know-how and creative talent.

Ksenia co-founded Art Night in 2015, a national, biennial contemporary art festival presenting ambitious work by artists in civic spaces. In her role as Director until 2019, Ksenia was focusing on strategy, development and partnerships. She has also been a Visiting Lecturer at Sciences Po Paris, leading a conference on 'Culture in Global Cities’ at the School of Public Affairs, Masters Degree. In 2022 Ksenia moved to Lisbon to take on the role of Founding Director of a new museum, opening in 2024. Ksenia is interested in the positive impact of the arts on the public realm and is always keen to discover and create new cultural experiences. She studied Public Affairs and Cultural Policy at Sciences Po Paris, holds an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and is a fluent Russian and French speaker.
