Working together

"JR: CHRONICLES" is the largest exhibition devoted exclusively to JR, showcasing some of his most iconic projects of the last 15 years and opening in London on June 4, 2021 at the Saatchi Gallery.

Art Explora has chosen to be associated with this exhibition because we believe in the social impact of JR's work and its impact on the world we live in - echoing the very mission of Art Explora. Indeed, JR's humanistic approach - highlighting social realities in order to create connections between people - is also one of the foundation's key objectives.

By working in close collaboration with the Saatchi Gallery, which recently took on charitable status, we wanted to work together towards the same goals and make art accessible to as many people as possible by offering a platform dedicated to art and education.

Support the exhibition JR: Chronicles at London's internationally renowned Saatchi Gallery in the context of Brexit was also a strong symbol of our belief that now, more than ever, we need to set an example of a culture that has the power to unite.

Workshop with Saatchi Learning

Through this collaboration, we wanted to contribute toArt Explora 's mission of making art accessible to as many people as possible. We have therefore worked closely with the Saatchi Gallery's educational program, as well as with local associations on outreach initiatives in the Greater London area, to ensure that all audiences have the opportunity to encounter JR's works.

We set up school activities, workshops, adapted tours and provided educational material around the exhibition. We also wanted to involve different communities and work with local associations such as Art Emergency, Arts4Dementia, the association that brings art into prisons KOESTLEARTS and the women's support association Refuge.
