The exhibition "JR: CHRONICLES" at the Saatchi Gallery

The collaboration
“JR: CHRONICLES ” is the largest exhibition dedicated exclusively to JR, showcasing some of his most iconic projects from the past 15 years and opening in London on June 4, 2021 at the Saatchi Gallery .
Art Explora chose to partner with this exhibition because we believe in the social impact of JR's work and its influence on the world we live in – thus echoing Art Explora's own mission. Indeed, JR's deeply humanistic approach – highlighting social realities in order to create connections between people – is also a core objective of the foundation.
By working closely with the Saatchi Gallery , which recently became a charitable organization, we wanted to work together towards the same goals and make art accessible to as many people as possible by offering a platform dedicated to art and education.
Supporting the JR: Chronicles exhibition at the internationally renowned Saatchi Gallery in London, in the context of Brexit, was also a strong symbol of our conviction that today more than ever we must set an example of a culture that has the power to unite.

The commitments
Through this collaboration, we wanted to contribute to Art Explora's mission and make art accessible to as many people as possible. Therefore, we worked very closely with the programme educational activities at the Saatchi Gallery , but also with local associations around outreach initiatives in the Greater London area to ensure that all audiences have the opportunity to encounter JR's works.
We have set up school activities, workshops, adapted visits, and provided educational materials related to the exhibition. We also wanted to involve different communities and work with local associations such as Art Emergency, Arts4Dementia, KOESTLEARTS (the association that brings art into prisons), and Refuge (the women's support association).
