Work presented in front of the France Pavilion at the Dubai World Expo.

Eat me is a work of protocol and context. A poem by Audre Lorde is industrially engraved on local, seasonal and exotic fruit, like a tattoo. The engraving alters the fruit, which carries a message beyond its own finitude - ripening, rotting, dying. It traces the genesis of a memory in the manner of an offering, and becomes a place of perishable memory.

The artist's biography
