To coincide with the Cities theme week of the Dubai World Expo, Art Explora is exhibiting works by eight internationally renowned French artists. Questioning the place of ecosystems in the urban environment, these works are presented simultaneously in several urban spaces, in Dubai as well as in Paris, in order to share the World Expo's artistic program with as many people as possible.

Hicham Berrada

Les Augures mathematics, 2019 - on going

Works presented in the Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre metro station, in front of the French Pavilion at the Dubai World Expo and on Jumeirah Road in Dubai.

These images are created on computer using equations that mimic the way elements of the natural world (roots, clouds, lichen...) take on, develop or modify their form. These complex, hybrid forms represent "possible worlds", entire ecosystems which, depending on atmospheric circumstances, could one day exist.
