This one-hour concert celebrates the rhythms, songs and dances of Guadeloupe and Haiti. The first part is devoted to Guadeloupe and the Gwo-ka tradition, featuring rhythms such as the Léwoz, Toumblak, Mendé, Graj and Mass à Saint-Jean. On stage: René Burin on the boula drum, Roger Raspail on the makè drum, Annette Nicolas on vocals and chacha, and singer Gildas Lutin, with her powerful yet gentle voice. The audience is invited to parade and dance. The second part is dedicated to Haiti, with the Yanvalou, Rabordaille, Rara and Petro. Master drummer Kébyésou performs the great classics of Haitian Vodou, while dancer Nerlande Bazelais draws the audience into her spellbinding dances, so everyone can share in the energy of this tradition.

Originally created at the Bourse de Commerce in Paris, Dancehall Weather brings together Argentine choreographer Cecilia Bengolea and her collaborators Craig Black Eagle (Jamaica) and Nika Mad Spirit (Ukraine) in a performance where dance and video archives intertwine. Drawing from Jamaican dancehall — which Cecilia Bengolea sees as a powerful medium for healing — the performance opens with an Early Settings session, a musical moment of reflection and collective energy, before giving way to a liberating shared dance.

Eart_ض is a collaborative research project developed by Zaira Oram collective (CH) & QANAT collective (MA), and taking place between Switzerland and Morocco in exchange with Palestine. The research project arose from a necessary reflection on the present time. Today, an increasing number of people have a residual relationship with the earth, because of the hectic times we live in and because of still expanding centralized urban spaces that often do not welcome nature. Our society is increasingly losing its roots, the practice of listening between human beings and between humankind and the earth is lacking. The increasing loss of the memory of rurality distances us from an ancient wisdom, which still remains the heritage of a few.

As part of the Art Explora festival and in partnership with the Shems'y National Circus School in Salé, artists Klara Fontibus, Nassim Azarzar, and Aliocha Tazi invite students to participate in the creation process of Act.1_Brise. Students from all disciplines will be able to explore the various elements used to compose flying (or fixed) structures in order to develop a choreographic and narrative performance. The research conducted during this workshop will culminate in two public outdoor performances.
