From Penelope, the ideal woman, to the monsters Odysseus faces, we invite you to gain a better understanding of these archetypes of femininity that have left their mark on Western culture. How have these women, nymphs, goddesses and monsters been represented over the centuries in the visual arts, literature, film, comics and video games?
