Visitor Services and Outreach
Engaging the public is at the heart of the festival’s mission. The educational programs foster dialogue between artistic and scientific perspectives and offer accessible insights to all audiences, centered on a common theme: marine ecosystems and the bonds that connect humanity to the oceans.
MEDIATION for the General Public
Designed according to the principles of universal accessibility, the festival promotes a free, inclusive, and participatory experience, so that everyone can engage with the works regardless of their age, background, or specific needs. Art workshops, workshops to raise awareness about marine ecosystems, storytelling sessions, games, and urban scavenger hunts are offered at each stop, either free of charge or by registration.

SCHOOLS AND ORGANIZATIONS
During the week, the festival welcomes school groups through workshops designed to raise awareness about marine ecosystems, developed in collaboration with local cultural and scientific institutions. In addition, community spaces are made available free of charge to local organizations so they can showcase their initiatives and raise public awareness about the causes they champion: coastal protection, education, social integration, and access to culture. To organize a school or community group visit, please contact us.
ACCESSIBILITY
Engagement initiatives such as treasure hunts for young visitors, audio guides, booklets in Braille and FALC, and tactile reproductions of artworks are designed to enable visitors to engage with the artworks regardless of their age, background, or specific needs. Guided tours for groups with specific needs are also available.
The Art Explora Festival is committed to being accessible to all people with disabilities. For any specific needs (mobility, sensory, cognitive, or invisible disabilities, assistance during the visit, etc.), visitors are invited to contact the staff on site.
