DJ set - MAGMAXPLORA, Magma Collective

Invited by the Art Explora foundation, the Magma collective presents magmaXplora, an immersive performance blending DJ set and VJing around marine imaginaries.

Conceived as a sensory crossing, magmaXplora explores aquatic depths as territories of fiction, memory and metamorphosis. Amid layers of sound, organic rhythms and shifting visual landscapes, the collective composes a drift through abysses, invisible currents, bioluminescence, submerged relics and underwater eruptions—there where molten matter meets water to give birth to pillow lavas, rock formations born of the clash between fire and liquid.

At the crossroads of celebration, installation and ritual, this intervention transforms the space into a zone of poetic turbulence: a shifting fault from which images, sounds and matter burst forth, like an underwater volcanic flow in perpetual transformation.

Inspired by marine ecosystems, abyssal volcanoes and their dynamics of interdependence, magmaXplora invites a collective dive into a fluid, incandescent and moving world, where the boundaries between the living, the mineral and the imaginary dissolve.

Magma Collective

The Magma collective brings together around ten women from Le Havre united by the same ardent love of electronic music and a desire to shift the lines. It is also a group for sharing and learning musical and artistic creation in all its forms, with mixing, production, VJing, scenography, graphic design and event production as its flagship elements. Fusion is strength, and the diversity of each member's style invites curiosity and sparks surprising encounters, always in the spirit of experimenting with and exploring creation. Magma is a collective in the image of a world in perpetual motion. Like magma, it never stops transforming.
