DJ Set - Collective 329
On the occasion of Art Explora, the 329 collective takes over the stage this Friday, October 2, with its resident DJs, ORL and Mazout, for a DJ set navigating between Dub Techno, Mental Techno, and a more Detroit-inspired strain of Techno rooted in the Underground Resistance movement. The set creates a bridge between Le Havre and Detroit, two industrial cities shaped by the contrast between humans and machines.

329 is a reference to the street number of the Fort de Tourneville. Founded in 2014, this collective from Le Havre brings together around ten experienced members whose skills are as diverse as they are complementary: visual creation, music composition, artistic programming, and the technical management of performances, concerts, and exhibitions. They are all united by the same ambition: to promote and elevate electronic music in Le Havre. With its exploratory and alternative artistic direction, 329 delivers a carefully curated lineup at each event, showcasing local artists while also inviting renowned French and international DJs and Producers to perform at its events, including Anetha, Rødhåd, Zadig, Carin Kelly, Benales, and Domi. As part of the Art Explora festival, Collective 329 takes over the stage on Friday, October 2, with its resident DJs, ORL and Mazout. Their DJ set will move between dub techno, mental techno, and a style of techno deeply influenced by the Underground Resistance movement that originated in Detroit. In doing so, they create a bridge between Le Havre and Detroit—two industrial cities shaped by the tension and contrast between people and machines.

Aurélien Laville, know as ORL or 53cm, is an electronic music artist based in Le Havre, France. His work moves between ambient, experimental music, noise, and techno. He regularly collaborates with other artists on performances and exhibitions. Drawing from texts, images, or concepts, he transforms these elements into immersive sonic landscapes, creating unique auditory experiences that blur the boundaries between sound art and electronic music.

Nathan Chevrin, better known by his alias MAZOUT, began DJing in 2011 and performed his first DJ sets at parties in Rio de Janeiro. After returning to France, he refined his craft and switched to an all-vinyl setup in 2014, playing extensively in Parisian bars and clubs such as Sacré, Nouveau Casino, Zéro Zéro, and Le 45 Tour with his former collective, Les Nuits Chaudes. His passion for blending genres and subgenres—including EBM, disco, house, and techno—makes each of his performances a unique musical journey. In 2022, he chose to return to his beloved hometown of Le Havre to further develop his musical project. He joined the 329 collective and also started crafting his own sound by producing music of his own. Since returning to Le Havre, he has built a strong local reputation through performances at venues such as Tetris, PiedNu, DKDF, Halle aux Poissons, Le Vinyle, Moonwax, and La Source. He has also shared the stage with artists including Zadig, Céline Technorama, Oxyd, Nimä Skill, Shaney, and Modgeist.
