Originally, the rodeo was a celebration, marked by sporting games and reunions. So we came up with the idea of a sparkling, dynamic piece based on urban culture, designed to introduce audiences of all generations to the most modern hip-hop disciplines. Rodeo brings together veteran Granada dancers and younger dancers discovered in STOLAR. Together, they mix different hip-hop techniques in this "all-terrain" piece that throws them successively into the air and to the ground in a spirit of exchange and jubilation.
