Two exhibition pavilions are deployed alongside the quay. One is dedicated to the evocative power of the Mediterranean Sea and the imaginary worlds it conjures up. The second addresses the themes of migration and exile through photography and the moving image. Under the azure is an exhibition based on the Mediterranean, the imagination it conjures up, the fear it inspires, and the ancient and contemporary myths associated with it. The exhibition brings together some twenty international artists, both historical and contemporary, who share the common trait of having found in the Mediterranean an immense territory of inspiration. The Photo Pavilion exhibition focuses on photography and moving images in the Arab world. The exhibition offers an exploration of the Mediterranean in the context of migration and exile, highlighting the work of emerging photographers from the region.
