DJ Set by JOKKOO COLLECTIVE featuring B4MBA, MOOKI6, and TNTC
JOKKOO Soundsystem has its origins in neighborhood parties held in Barcelona’s public squares, and despite its global reach, it strives to stay true to its roots by creating accessible spaces for sharing experimental Black and electronic music, while exchanging a vibrant energy with the audience.

Soundsystem culture inspires the dynamic interaction between vocalists, DJs, and dancers, and is reflected in an emphasis on riddims and bass frequencies that move both minds and bodies. Driven by six versatile members, Jokkoo’s chemistry generates adaptable combinations that are open to improvisation, collaborations, and hybrid performances.
Although he is not currently touring with his own physical sound system, Jokkoo pays tribute to those who came before him and continues the age-old quest for unity through sound and dance.
Jokkoo Collective
Jokkoo is an artistic and musical collective based in Barcelona. It works with the intention and commitment to seek out and promote the most contemporary and futuristic creations from the experimental and alternative scenes of the African continent, its diaspora, and its allied communities around the world. They forge connections and create spaces to provide a platform for dissident aesthetics and narratives.
The collective is made up of six distinct individuals who share common goals: Baba Sy, Maguette Dieng (Mbodj), Oscar Taylor (Opoku), Nicolas Beliot (Mooki6), Ismäel N’diaye (B4mba), and Miriam Camara (TNTC).
B4MBA
B4MBA is a Senegalese-Hispanic producer, DJ, and vocalist born in Montpellier, in southern France. He began his career as a DJ for the rappers Wit. and Laylow before focusing on production in 2015. His diverse influences allow him to create hybrid styles of bass music rooted in African, American, and British rhythms. He has also explored Latin American sounds to achieve a mix that is both danceable and experimental. In 2020, he joined the Jokkoo collective, where he refocused on his roots to craft an Afro-futuristic sound.
He is a member of the experimental punk band BLKM3TA alongside three other members of the Jokkoo collective: Baba Sy, MOOKI6, and Opoku. Together with the Jokkoo collective, Choro, and Cordova, he co-founded the FOC cultural space, a multidisciplinary hub where various artists can develop their art.
His latest releases, *Sub-Marine & Soundsystem 2025* and *Proto Nexus* —a collaboration with MOOKI6—focus on industrial and experimental dancehall infused with jungle breaks. Through numerous singles with Baba Sy, he also seeks to fuse a hybrid vision blending mbalax and downtempo rhythms. He has also collaborated on a project with Opoku centered on Afro bass music inspired by gqom. His most recent project, Gaïndé, reimagines dubstep in his own unique way. Finally, he further experiments with glitch textures and distorted bass on his EP *NGELAW*, released on the Moroccan label Raghoul.
MOOKI6
MOOKI6 is a French-Guadeloupean multidisciplinary audiovisual artist. Through his sets and productions, he creates a deconstructed and saturated rhythmic universe, drawing on the experimental eclecticism of genres such as dancehall, drum 'n bass, bouyon, and gqom, fused with trap, grime, and punk/metal.
Always drawn to sounds with a decentralized DNA, diaspora music, and dark, experimental, and dense frequencies, Mooki6 uses propulsive club beats and syncopated rhythms to take you on an immersive sensory journey, without regard for genre conventions. In just a few years, under the wing of the Jokkoo collective—based in Barcelona and composed of people of African descent—MOOKI6 has become a staple of the Barcelona scene. He has performed at some of the city’s most prominent clubs, such as the Apolo, Razzmatazz, Moog, Foc, and Pumarejo; appeared at festivals including Primavera Sound, Sónar, CTM, and Nyege Nyege; and has also recorded sessions for Boiler Room.
He is currently a co-programmer for the Electronica en Abril festival in Madrid (La Casa Encendida) for the third consecutive year, as well as a co-programmer for events held at “FOC,” the venue he manages with his collective. Mooki6 is currently working on his upcoming EP, *0 Mass*, which will be released in a few months, as well as on an EP with the BLKM3TA project, with which he is affiliated. These releases will be put out on the Berlin-based label DanceNoire.
TNTC
TNTC is a DJ and electronic musician of Guinean-Spanish descent, born and based in Barcelona, known locally for regularly setting the dance floor ablaze with energetic, emotionally charged sets. Their soundscape encompasses a wide range of experimental music produced primarily by queer artists from Africa and the diaspora, weaving together genres such as techno, bass, kuduro, Afrorave, ambient, and noise, in search of sounds that resonate with both body and heart. A member of the Jokkoo collective, TNTC also performs live, utilizing sound synthesis and experimental sample manipulation.
