Moumout is developing a hybrid live performance that straddles the line between groovy rhythms and mental tension.
Coming from a background in the visual arts, he approaches his work as a medium to be sculpted. Each performance is constructed live, striking a balance between control and creative freedom.
As a co-founder of the EKHO collective, he plays an active role in shaping a socially conscious local electronic music scene in Normandy. From producing events to reflecting on the ethics of nightlife to showcasing emerging artists, he views music as both a cultural and collective tool.
Through his productions and live performances, Moumout creates a raw and immersive aesthetic, where mental tension meets the energy of the dance floor.
Moumout
An artist, graphic designer, DJ, and producer, he seeks an intense, transcendental state and a connection with the audience through a carefully curated selection or live mix of tracks in each of his sets, in a techno style that contrasts hypnotic melodies with high-energy BPMs. The DJ from Le Havre has been passionately exploring electronic sounds for the past two years with the EKHO collective, which he co-founded to promote underground culture and emerging local artists.
EKHO
EKHO, a Le Havre-based collective representing a new generation of artists committed to the empowerment of alternative cultures in the region and the convergence of art forms, exudes a unique, unifying energy. Comprising four complementary individuals—who are DJs, event producers, technicians, and creatives—the EKHO project aims to integrate electronic culture into the local cultural heritage by channeling its creativity into a sustainable celebration that embodies values bridging the gap between club culture and street parties, all while driving artistic innovation.
