Screening of the trilogy Tetuán, Tetuán, تطوان , by Adrian Schindler
Screening followed by Schindler's interview with researcher and artist Aicha Trinidad. This day focuses on the film trilogy "Tetuan, Tetuan, تطوان" by artist Adrian Schindler, whose film project examines the traces that Morocco's colonial past has left in Spanish society through an experimental collaborative methodology, addressing both cultural production and public space as well as the collective imagination.

Developed in three cities in dialogue with Moroccan and Spanish cultural agents, each of the three chapters explores narrative strategies for re-signifying places such as Barcelona's Plaza de Tetuan, Madrid's Tetuan de las Victorias district or "Spanish" cinema in Morocco's own city, among others.
Interspersed with readings, songs, informal conversations and fictitious scenes at the foot of monuments, in cafés and museums, the project defends the idea that orality offers resistance to hegemonic discourses and encourages the emergence of other imaginaries.
Adrian Schindler
Franco-German artist and filmmaker Adrian Schindler explores Europe's colonial and fascist legacies, focusing on Nazi Germany and Spanish colonialism in Morocco. His interdisciplinary work includes performances, installations and films that examine power structures through historical archives. Influenced by decolonial theories, Schindler takes a collaborative approach, using art as a tool to rethink current power relations. His work has been presented at a number of international institutions and festivals.
