Production: Interwoven Narratives Hub & Centre of Performing Arts MITOS

The Centre of Performing Arts MITOS, founded in 2007 and based at the Vinegar Factory in the historic centre of Limassol. Αn initiative that operates under the artistic direction of Elena Agathokleous and in collaboration with creative director Constantina Peter. Presents its own artistic work through performative projects while simultaneously designing and implementing curated programmes that employ art as a primary tool for social engagement. Develops methodologies exploring the role of the arts in conflict transformation and produces interventions that foster dialogue and reclaim public space. The MITOS maintains a network of partners spanning the arts, sciences, technology, and community sectors. Each year, it designs and executes an annual programme of events, overseeing their production, research, creation, and presentation.

Immersive exhibition "Présentes

Created with the exceptional collaboration of the Musée du Louvre, this exhibition highlights female figures in Mediterranean civilization, thanks to the digitization and modeling of part of the Louvre's collections. A two-stage experience: an introductory film to provide context, followed by an immersive experience in a 16-meter-long tunnel covered by 120 m2 of LED screens.

Is access to the boat free?

Yes, the boat is freely accessible on site. However, you can pre-book your time online on our website.

Is there a specific dress code for visiting the museum boat?

For reasons of safety and preservation of the boat, high heels and stilettos may not be worn on the boat.

How do I get on board the museum boat?

The museum boat is open to all free of charge. To find out on which quay it will be moored, or to pre-book your slot, consult the page dedicated to your town.

Is the museum boat accessible to people with reduced mobility?

Appropriate facilities have been set up on the Festival site for the reception and access of people with reduced mobility. The boat is equipped with a 1m-wide ramp, accessible to people with reduced mobility, but may require the accompaniment of a third party due to its gradient of over 6%. Access to the aft deck and immersive exhibition is possible. However, the upper deck is not accessible. Please inform us in advance of any special accessibility requirements, so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
