Since 2020, the Centre of Performing Arts MITOS has been researching and documenting the human geography of the area -the place, its human activities, social structures, and stories- through interdisciplinary projects. Within this framework, MITOS has been developing a hybrid archive, which lately has been further enriched in collaboration with the Department of Communication and Media Studies of the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT).
Curated by Elena Agathokleous, the event opens a window into this archive: a ritual of farewell that examines whether collective memory and social narratives can be transformed into an active process of understanding and critique, allowing us to reframe our gaze upon the city and its dominant narratives.
