Expect a multisensory experience that will have the whole family laughing and shivering at the same time. A silent conversation about the power of creativity in the 21st century, disguised as a puppet show. Giant puppets, experimental dance, and group exercises come together to offer you a nonsensical story whose sole purpose is to navigate the complex labyrinth of the mind with a feather and tickle your soul. Accompanied and fused with Bartira's sound universe, she will use her ever-expanding sound bank to create an immersive sound environment live.

Poncilí Creación is a performance duo based in Puerto Rico dedicated to creating foam sculptures designed to come to life. These sculptures, designed to be manipulated by the human body or parts of it—some as small as a coin, others as large as cars—are tools for generating a fantastical power that permeates reality. In their rituals/performances/installations, they attempt, through a series of unorthodox methods, to convince the audience that anything is possible.
Bartira is an archivist. A storyteller. A time traveler. She researches, documents, and records sounds from the "southern" parts of the world. She uses her ever-expanding sound bank as an experimental archiving exercise, re-signifying these sounds to create music and soundscapes that question and speculate on the realities of this information age specific to late capitalism. It is a counter-intelligence effort to thwart AI's representation of the sound world by creating a kind of Creole sound seed bank, open to collaboration and sharing for all.
Their work has been shown at MoMA PS1, Hauser & Wirth, the Aspen Art Museum, the Center for Puppetry Arts, MAPR, the Art Off Norm Biennial, NADA, the Rising Festival, the Material Art Fair, and ICALA.
