Vincent Moon - Live Cinema - A cinematic ritual (Alain Weber's concerts)
Exclusively, a presentation of the latest musical epic across Morocco by Vincent Moon, a pioneer of musical film.
"This wheel under which we turn is like a magic lantern. The sun is the lamp; the world is the screen. We are the passing images"
Omar Khayyâm
A veritable magic of the "optical rite", the live cinema of Vincent Moon, visionary nomad of planetary music, offers a new approach to ceremony. Live cinema is a performance combining live cinema, music on stage and in the projected films, and the search for a new hybrid format of relationship with the spectator. Each performance is a unique combination of film and music, based on Petites Planètes recordings. A new show is born every night. In a way, Vincent Moon has crossed the boundary: whereas most of the time the digital filmed image or the image composed by software accompanies the musical performance, here it becomes the very source of the musical act. Through a long, hypnotic possession, it reinvents the context of a music that accesses its environment and the energy of the sacred.
