A self-taught artist and winner of a Victoire de la Musique, Hervé has carved out a distinctive place within the French music scene in the space of just three albums, with pop-rock compositions fuelled by electronic pulses. Alongside his own tour and thanks to Chaillot, Hervé met the MazelFreten, an exceptionally dynamic choreographic collective moving between hip-hop and electro, and revealed to the world during the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. This collaboration has proved entirely relevant – even self-evident. For him, as for them, music is a primary mode of expression, a driver of movement, a matter of rhythm. On the occasion of Art Explora, the 329 collective takes over the stage this Friday, October 2, with its resident DJs, ORL and Mazout, for a DJ set navigating between Dub Techno, Mental Techno, and a more Detroit-inspired strain of Techno rooted in the Underground Resistance movement. The set creates a bridge between Le Havre and Detroit, two industrial cities shaped by the contrast between humans and machines.
