Through this workshop, participants will discover the beauty of mosaics – one of the most well-known forms of art from Mediterranean cultures such as Greek, Roman, and North African. Each participant will create their own small mosaic using paper squares. “Water Lilies” was created in 2025 for the 4th year contemporary dance students at the Elementary School for Classical Ballet and Contemporary Dance, at the Elementary School VeĆŸica, Rijeka. Inspired by Monet’s “Water Lilies” and set to Claire de Lune by Debussy, the work is a meditation on peace, interdependence and the flow of water.

Accessibility

Appropriate facilities have been set up on the Festival site for the reception and access of people with reduced mobility. Wheelchairs are allowed on board the boat. The boat is equipped with a 1m wide ramp, accessible to people with reduced mobility, but may require the accompaniment of a third party due to its gradient of over 6%. Please inform us in advance of any special accessibility requirements, so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
