I.O. (Inteligencia Orgánica - Organic Intelligence) is a collective creation project bringing together Karen Lugo, Momi Maiga, Aleix Tobías, Guillem Aguilar, Itamar Doari and Carles Dénia. Rooted in friendship and mutual listening, the project reflects a shared way of understanding music as a space for dialogue, connection and exchange.
Flamenco, Spanish folk traditions and Mandinka music act as bridges within this creative encounter. Improvisation becomes a central element, allowing each artist to contribute their own voice to an open musical game shaped by diversity and interaction. The result is a living, organic and deeply communicative proposal, where music and movement coexist naturally.
I.O. is not conceived as a closed format, but as an evolving space guided by collective listening and trust between the performers. Tradition and contemporaneity meet without hierarchy, generating a shared language that is constantly transforming and adapting to the moment and the context of performance.
