Little drummers - Ri Rock Academy
Ri Rock Academy was created with the idea of developing and improving the Rijeka alternative scene. Above all, it is a unique place for learning and fostering innovation, rather than a form of institutionalized professional education. The program takes a different, “alternative”, approach, moving away from classical teaching methods and music theory, and is focused on individual or group musical practice.
The primary goal is to provide motivation and insight into the joy of playing, the art of creating and communicating music, and to inspire participants’ interest in creative work, socializing, and spending free time in a fulfilling way.
Besides learning how to play rhythms, the workshop is also oriented on other aspects, such as teamwork and collaboration, a sense of community, focus, creativity, self-expression, motor skills, discipline, releasing negative emotions and stress, as well as relaxation and unwinding…
