As part of the annual “Read Aloud” campaign of the online magazine Kokkini Alepou”, Zoe Koskinidou reads The Secret of Parents by Nicolas Mathieu, illustrated by Pierre – Henry Gomont and translated by Katerina Schina. What is this secret that adults hide so well from children? Klemperer is sure that there is something they are not telling them and he is also absolutely sure that the secret is that all adults hate children! How did he understand this? But don’t you see how they always try to correct them, to make them quiet so that they don’t bother them, they constantly give them orders and most importantly they don’t understand them.

“Read Aloud” is the annual campaign of the electronic magazine “Kokkini Alepou” whose main goal is to make the practice and benefits of reading aloud widely known to parents, caregivers and teachers. For the 8th consecutive year, “Read Aloud” comes to remind us of the important role reading aloud plays in the life and development of children of all ages, as well as in cultivating a love for books and literature. It is aimed at parents and teachers and is supported by experiential seminars, speeches and presentations in schools, libraries, bookstores and daycare centers.
