Each piece carries the gesture and story of its maker, joining others in a collective artwork made by many hands. When Mastro Sol is exhibited on June 27 at 11:00 am, you can return to find your figure and see how it became part of the final piece.

Sopa de Pedra is an all-female Portuguese vocal ensemble exploring the country's oral traditions, long carried by women work songs, lullabies, romances, festive and devotional chants. Their music is built around a cappella polyphony, at times accompanied by traditional percussion such as the adufe and pandeiro. Through their multi-voice arrangements, they breathe new life into a heritage long confined to the domestic sphere, bringing it onto contemporary stages in Portugal and abroad.

It is time to create one, by returning to her childhood, when her mother was arrested and accused of murder. And there they are, in a realistic reverie, travelling in an old hot dog van along the dirt roads of northern Brazil. Especially for the Art Explora Festival artist Zaineb Henchiri creates a performance that incorporates her recent research with existing performative elements in her practice. In her performances Henchiri creates different personas that function as alter egos of the artists as well characters she has encountered online and in her daily life. Echo Chamber is a performative reading accompanied by visual projections. The performance questions the ability to have a distinct voice within the contemporary realm of technological and political changes. Shadows Durres works as a repository of a patchwork of phrases left on the internet, messages shared with the artists, and available tutorials.

Lucky Pierre is an ongoing performance series exploring intimacy, desire, and connection through a persona caught between giving and receiving, exposure and control. Inspired by queer slang, the character embodies duality, both active and passive, performing and being performed upon. Each episode unfolds through poetry, voice, movement, and sound, with a mask and costume serving as transformative tools that conceal and reveal. The work creates a space where personal experience and theatrical expression merge in a continuous negotiation of roles.
