When Every Voice Becomes One: Discover Palau Vincles

How can music bring people together, build confidence and transform lives? The first episode of our Stories from the European Award series explores exactly that, meeting former winners of the Art Explora – Académie des beaux-arts European Award to discover how receiving the Award has helped their projects reach a new stage of development.

For this first episode, we head to Barcelona to discover Palau Vincles, a project led by the Fundació Orfeó Català – Palau de la Música Catalana, where music becomes a powerful tool for empowering young people.

Throughout the year, more than 40 children take part in choral singing and dance workshops before coming together on stage for a concert that blends the Catalan repertoire with classical and contemporary music. More than a performance, it is a celebration of sharing, joy and connection.

Through the voices of the Palau Vincles team and the young participants, this film looks back at Palau Vincles Fest, the emotionally charged celebration marking the project's 15th anniversary, following a year of preparation alongside the children.
