Between House, Trance and techno, the Helios collective blends styles to match the energy of the moment.

CinéMo is a mobile cinema run by the Fondation Art Explora, designed with the support of the Fondation CANAL+. Equipped with 72 seats, it travels to meet audiences where they are, offering free film screenings and introductory cinema workshops to as many people and in as many territories as possible. At the Art Explora Festival, CinéMo invites you to discover 2 immersive films through virtual reality headsets. An experience that offers a new way of discovering cinema, through total immersion.

From the icy, crystal-clear waters of Antarctica to the murky seas of the Philippines, and down into the depths off Cap Corse, where light dwindles and human presence is scarce, nature endures, endlessly shaping itself into extraordinary forms.

A self-taught artist and winner of a Victoire de la Musique, Hervé has carved out a distinctive place within the French music scene in the space of just three albums, with pop-rock compositions fuelled by electronic pulses. Alongside his own tour and thanks to Chaillot, Hervé met the MazelFreten, an exceptionally dynamic choreographic collective moving between hip-hop and electro, and revealed to the world during the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. This collaboration has proved entirely relevant – even self-evident. For him, as for them, music is a primary mode of expression, a driver of movement, a matter of rhythm. Freeing the mind and stirring the body.

On the occasion of Art Explora, the 329 collective takes over the stage this Friday, October 2, with its resident DJs, ORL and Mazout, for a DJ set navigating between Dub Techno, Mental Techno, and a more Detroit-inspired strain of Techno rooted in the Underground Resistance movement. The set creates a bridge between Le Havre and Detroit, two industrial cities shaped by the contrast between humans and machines.

The proposal is entitled In the Depths and takes the form of a performative lecture. It begins with the real history of the Atlantic as a space of violence and memory: the slave trade, ports with a Black presence in Spain (Barcelona, Seville, Cadiz), and how this past has been silenced or fragmented. From there, it takes a creative leap into the realm of the imaginary: how artists such as Drexciya have paved the way for thinking about the ocean not only as a tomb, but also as an archive, as a place of possibilities and future.

Inspired by Nkisi’s ongoing research into the ethnographic music archives (1893 till present), ‘Serpent Songs’ invokes the serpentine movements of sound and the migratory paths of its vibrations. The musical composition delves into the psycho-acoustics inherited from ancient musical traditions. Here, music emerges as an enchanted consciousness; a vessel for its mythopoetic remembrance. Inspired by the primordial snake ancestors of these ancient traditions who shaped landscapes, rivers, and hills, ‘Serpent Songs' traces the trails of music they left behind.
