The choir Praksa nurtures antifascist values through music, performing songs that promote class solidarity and the overcoming of national barriers. Such songs have been empowering the marginalized and oppressed for centuries, advocating for a fairer life. Since the choir’s founding in March 2014, we have held over 200 performances in Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, North Macedonia, Italy, Austria, France, Sweden and Spain.

The launeddas is a reed wind instrument. Despite its resemblance to other wind instruments, this instrument is unique. It originated in Sardinia and perfectly embodies the identity of this island. It is indeed a very ancient instrument, as evidenced by a small bronze statue depicting a player dating from the second millennium BC.

Through this workshop, participants will discover the beauty of mosaics – one of the most well-known forms of art from Mediterranean cultures such as Greek, Roman, and North African. Each participant will create their own small mosaic using paper squares. Inspired by traditional patterns, plants, the sea, and geometry, participants will create unique works of art. ©Photos Adaline Considine / Tanja Blašković

“Water Lilies” was created in 2025 for the 4th year contemporary dance students at the Elementary School for Classical Ballet and Contemporary Dance, at the Elementary School Vežica, Rijeka. Inspired by Monet’s “Water Lilies” and set to Claire de Lune by Debussy, the work is a meditation on peace, interdependence and the flow of water.
