On the upper deck of the boat, every day between 5pm and 7pm, the festival’s curators and a collaboration with the national pavilions of the Biennale offer concerts, performances, screenings, talks, panels... on a ‘carte blanche’ principle, echoing their unique way of understanding the major themes of the Festival throughout its itinerancy, embodying the purpose of the project through cultural cooperation on a regional scale.

The Art Explora Festival is an itinerant festival that travels the seas and oceans of the world thanks to its museum boat to offer innovative artistic and cultural experiences accessible free of charge. From spring 2024 to autumn 2026, the festival will travel for its first tour of 15 countries in the Mediterranean. On the occasion of the 60th International Art Biennial, the museum ship will drop anchor in Venice from 17 to 22 April, at Riva Sette Martiri, a stone's throw from the Giardini. Adorned with its large quay sails designed by Laure Prouvost, the museum boat resonates with "Foreigners Everywhere", the theme of this 60th Biennial, as well as with the universal message that the foundation carries through its cultural odyssey in the Mediterranean: art goes beyond borders.
