Fouad Boussouf's works sit at the meeting point of hip-hop, contemporary, and traditional practices. A teacher as much as a choreographer, he gives transmission a fundamental place. Each piece is conceived together with its accompanying set of practical workshops open to all audiences. These allow the works to be experienced differently, extending the spectator's experience and enriching it. °Up is no exception and can be adapted in many forms.

Invited by the Art Explora Foundation, the MAGMA collective unveils magmaXplora, an immersive performance where DJ sets and VJing intertwine in a journey through the marine imagination. As the sounds and moving visuals unfold, the audience drifts into the ocean’s depths—among the abyss and bioluminescence, underwater eruptions and pillow lavas—until the boundaries between the living, the mineral, and the imaginary dissolve.

A dance workshop exploring plastic and its impact on living beings, for all publics Inspired by images of marine animals trapped in plastic waste, this workshop was born from underwater observations in the Mediterranean and Red Sea, where plastic proliferates even in protected areas. In duet with a light plastic sheet, participants are invited to reflect on our habits and the way we inhabit our environment.

Discover Mass Struggle by artist Akram Zaatari, created especially for the Art Explora Festival. Invited by Amanda Abi Khalil and Danielle Makhoul - curators associated with the tour - the artist presents a work that takes the form of the Mediterranean Sea. Mass Struggle highlights the region's exhaustion in the face of constant human and commercial flows.

On the upper deck of the boat, every day between 5pm and 7pm, the festival’s curators and a collaboration with the national pavilions of the Biennale offer concerts, performances, screenings, talks, panels... on a ‘carte blanche’ principle, echoing their unique way of understanding the major themes of the Festival throughout its itinerancy, embodying the purpose of the project through cultural cooperation on a regional scale.
