The Art Explora Festival is a traveling festival that sails the world's seas and oceans aboard its museum ship, offering innovative and free artistic and cultural experiences. From spring 2024 to autumn 2026, the festival will embark on its first tour, visiting 15 countries in the Mediterranean. To coincide with the 60th International Art Biennale, the museum ship will be anchored in Venice from April 17 to 22, at Riva Sette Martiri, just steps from the Giardiniera. Adorned with its large dock sails designed by Laure Prouvost, the museum ship resonates with "Foreigners Everywhere," the theme of this 60th Biennale, as well as with the universal message that the foundation conveys through its cultural odyssey in the Mediterranean: art transcends borders.

Photo Exhibition - Subantarctica
"Subantarctica" is an outdoor photography exhibition showcasing the work of Under The Pole’s scientific underwater expeditions. From Antarctica’s marine ecosystems to the makeshift laboratories set up on board, it tells the story of an adventure where the exploration of the most extreme oceans meets the beauty of the world it reveals.

Embark on a journey to the Golden Age of Alexandria, Athens, and Venice! This brand-new experience, developed exclusively for the Art Explora Festival by Ubisoft, allows you to dive into the past at the heart of 3 iconic cities at the height of their splendor.
Virtual Reality - Carbon Black
In *Noir de Carbone* by Jérôme Waeselynck, follow the kite-ski expedition led by adventurer Matthieu Tordeur and glaciologist Heïdi Sevestre across 1,500 kilometers of the Greenland ice sheet.
Concert - "La fafara fissa papa," by Cie Gipsy Pigs
Enrico Gracias and his orchestra Los Fissa Papa, this is "La Fafara": the joyously infectious cumbia-rock-caliente street quartet that relaxes your cheek muscles, loosens up your legs, and sets crowds wild, turning any street corner into a supercharged dance floor! Come join the fan club of this great star singer, unfairly overlooked outside the many tax havens scattered across the globe (where he's nicknamed "El cantante del paraíso")!
Musical Performance - KoolCast Brass Gang
Based in Le Havre and the surrounding area, the KoolCast Brass Gang marching band brings together volunteers from a variety of backgrounds, professions and age groups. Tasked with opening the festival, the band will parade in a loop around the site, passing through key points to draw in as many spectators as possible and lead the crowd to the heart of the event. Starting from Hangar Zéro, the parade will end at Quai de Marseille, on the festival site itself, giving way to the official opening and speeches.

On the occasion of the 60th Venice Biennale, Art Explora, TBA21 and LAS Art Foundation are pleased to invite you to this great evening event, part of the Ocean Weekend program developed by the Art Explora Festival, a cultural festival traveling around the Mediterranean thanks to its museum boat.
