24hrs/ Palestine with 66k - DJ SET
As part of the programme "24hs/Palestine," taking place from September 28th to 29th, has selected 66k, a young DJ and artist from Fez, to present a mix exploring protest music. From contemporary underground to traditional popular songs, exploring counterculture and militant anthems, this DJ set will be broadcast live from the village to Radio Al Hara, a Palestinian internet radio station that originated in Bethlehem during the lockdown.

With Si Laarabi, Bouchra Ouizguen continues to probe and question the human within us in the strength of the body's presence, in its thickness, in its blossoming, its twisting and its contestations, in the cultural manifestations it carries and which have shaped it since a time before time.

Kabareh Sheikhats
The sheikhats of the eponymous Kabareh will take on the repertoire of Aïta Marsawiya, from Casablanca to Safi, sung by such great names as Bouchaib El Bidaoui, Maréchal Qibbo and Hajja Hamdaouia, among others. Songs that tell a social story, the exploits of heroes and mythical characters. A poetry of tears and joys, echoing a collective memory.

A closing party on the agora with DJ and producer Leïla Koumiya, who moves between club music, bass music, mahragan and drum'n bass.

The inaugural evening of the Rabat edition takes place in front of the Art Explora boat, on the Bouregreg quay near the ancient Kasbah des Oudayas. An evening of music from the Moroccan tradition of ita and Abidat Errma to the Andalusian flamenco of one of Morocco's oldest museums.

Heritage walk in the city of Salé - In the footsteps of Andalusians animated by Mouhcine El Gadi
Ayman El Gadi, an artist invited by the Mohawalat collective to take part in the first edition of the Art Explora festival in Rabat, invites his father to take him on a tour of Salé, to discover the ancient city's main historic sites of Maghrebo-Andalusian origin, which are not always accessible to tourists or well known to local residents.

Act.1_Brisk
As part of the Art Explora festival and in partnership with the Shems'y national circus school in Rabat, the three artists Klara Fontibus, Nassim Azarzar and Aliocha Tazi invite students to take part in the creative process of Act.1_Brise. Students from all disciplines will be able to appropriate the various elements used to compose kites, in order to propose a choreographic and narrative game. The research carried out during this workshop will be the subject of two open-air public performances.

The Art Explora Festival offers a rich, multi-disciplinary program including visits to the museum ship, exhibition pavilions, virtual reality experiences, artistic performances, concerts, lectures, film screenings, creative workshops and meetings. You'll be able to discover local and international artists, as well as thinkers and cultural players exploring contemporary themes related to the Mediterranean region. Yes, the boat is freely accessible on site. However, you can pre-book your time online on our website.
For reasons of safety and preservation of the boat, high heels and stilettos may not be worn on the boat.
To take part in the workshops and meetings offered during the Festival, you'll generally need to register in advance. Information on how to register will be available on the dedicated event page, where you can also find details of times and how to take part.

The museum boat is open to all free of charge. To find out on which quay it will be moored, or to pre-book your slot, consult the page dedicated to your town.
Appropriate facilities have been set up on the Festival site for the reception and access of people with reduced mobility. The boat is equipped with a 1m-wide ramp, accessible to people with reduced mobility, but may require the accompaniment of a third party due to its gradient of over 6%. Access to the aft deck and immersive exhibition is possible. However, the upper deck is not accessible. Please inform us in advance of any special accessibility requirements, so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
