Antonio R. Montesinos has been working for years on a project that unfolds metaphorically like a journey. “Relax N-340” could be understood as the culminating journey in which he seeks to understand himself within the sphere of what is called the “relax style”, a set of imaginary constructions and creative productions (architecture, recreational spaces, graphic design and infrastructure) associated with leisure and tourism on the Costa del Sol since the mid-twentieth century.

Visual artist Diego Delas has designed and conceptualized a series of banners that are a poetic tribute to the relationship between man and the Mediterranean Sea. Each banner, handmade from natural fabrics, incorporates shapes and symbols inspired by nature and the waves, evoking the light and colors of the coastline.

On Thursday 7th, from 12:00 to 13:00, a conversation will take place with the artist and CSIC researcher Idoia Murga Castro. Leonor Leal's flamenco dance workshop is a space for creation, reflection and experimentation. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the essence of flamenco, from its technical basis to the freedom of interpretation, combining tradition and the avant-garde.

Escribir una barca, construir una historia (Write a boat, build a story) is the title of an artistic practice workshop that explores formal and conceptual strategies for dealing with the stories of others, using art as a possible tool for political reflection. The workshop is part of the Como una casa project, in which Rojas worked on the basis of anonymous testimonies from two migrants who were detained in Centres d'Internamiento de Extranjeros (CIE). The workshop takes place in two parts, on Thursday and Friday.

An encounter between music and dance that unites two cultures: Arabo-Andalusian and Flamenco. Although these traditions emerged at different times, they have crossed paths in time and space, both meeting on the margins of society. This show combines the depth of flamenco singing with the lyrical poetry of Andalusian moaxajas and zejel verses, interwoven with Eastern rhythms. The result is a jondo fusion of exquisite refinement, with a freshness that evokes the warm, fragrant breezes that blow over the Alhambra on summer nights.

This day focuses on the film trilogy "Tetuan, Tetuan, تطوان" by artist Adrian Schindler, whose film project examines the traces that Morocco's colonial past has left in Spanish society through an experimental collaborative methodology, addressing both cultural production and public space as well as the collective imagination.

Ikram Essaghir will perform a set of songs, deeply rooted in Amazigh tradition, accompanied by the adŷun (Amazigh tambourine), evoking ancestral voices and stories of cultural resistance.

Sono Mayrit presents a DJ set that explores the links between Andalusian music and North African traditions. Thanks to a meticulous blend of flamenco, traditional Moroccan and Algerian rhythms and contemporary electronic sounds, this set offers a vibrant and eclectic sonic experience.
