28 days under the sea | with Laurent Ballesta

Les Baladeurs
Living underwater and interacting with mysterious fish has fascinated humans for decades. In 2019, to get closer to this dream, marine biologist and underwater photographer Laurent Ballesta has combined several diving techniques to explore the depths of the Mediterranean without time constraints. But his ambition came at a price: he had to remain confined for 28 days with three companions in a 5 m2 chamber. This innovative expedition takes the form of a journey into space, to discover species on the threshold of the abyss.

The French coastline at risk from erosion and flooding

Surfrider Foundation Europe
Marseille
Are our coasts retreating or not? There's a lot of talk about climate change. But does it affect us directly? What impact does it have on our coasts, and why should we care? In this booklet, we've set out to explain why the coast is in danger, what the threats are, and why it concerns us all. It's time to realize that we need to live with the ocean, not against it, and that we can all play our part in protecting our beaches!
